RTX Voice technology, which is exclusive to Nvidia’s RTX series graphics cards, later came for GTX series graphics cards. This incredible technology allows it to record just your voice, even if a broom is running next to your microphones. Advanced technology based on artificial intelligence can eliminate unwanted background sounds.
What is AMD Noise Suppression
The RTX Voice technology, which works in this way, has recently been brought to the agenda by a competitor named AMD. Noise Suppression technology, emerged through an accidentally posted video, was officially launched today.
AMD accidentally leaked its Noise Suppression feature last week, and now it’s officially making it available as part of its Adrenaline software. This feature, which will reduce background audio noise using a real-time deep learning algorithm.
AMD Noise Suppression works very similarly to RTX Voice. It allows you to filter out unwanted background noise from your own microphone. AMD has integrated its Noise Suppression feature directly into the Adrenaline interface, so you don’t need to download a separate app like Nvidia requires to use RTX Voice.
AMD Noise Suppression requires a Ryzen 5000 series processor or a Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card. It can also be used on all new generation hardware. The feature can be enabled in the audio and video section of the Adrenaline software.
As you know, Nvidia’s graphics cards also have a special DLSS technology. This technology basically brings an incredible performance boost by upscaling the low resolution with artificial intelligence. A similar one has been on the AMD side for a long time. Nvidia wowed us with RTX Voice a couple of years ago, and since then we’ve seen Discord, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet all add background noise suppression. AMD is developing features to rival Nvidia’s work, such as RTX Voice and DLSS. The benefit of this double competition is for the users.
